We manage a Google certified IT company with regional HQs in Budapest, Berlin, Milan, Qatar, Jakarta, and Singapore. To do this, we have to control a bunch of legal entities and pretty complex finance processes that require a strong and skilled finance squad. This team is currently missing a world-class Senior FP&A Analyst. We’d like to hire someone who has confident communication, planning, forecasting, and reporting skills and is capable of creating a unique reporting system from scratch while handling the month-end closing tasks of the group.

You will be responsible for

• developing and managing our reporting system (60%) including
  • defining and improving our Reporting and Controlling Framework.
  • developing and maintaining Google-Cloud-based reporting tools.
  • preparing and evaluating key metrics for the business operation (e.g.sales, resource management, productivity).
  • preparing and updating the pricing model and defining rate cards. 
  • preparing the monthly Management Report and actual vs. budget comparisons with a supportive narrative.
  • preparing rolling forecasts and updating budgets.

• ensuring safety and compliance (20%) by 
  • monitoring cash flows, preparing debt collection reports, and coordinating treasury transactions. 
  • reviewing commercial contracts to
    • assess potential business and financial risks, and
    • ensure compliance with internal requirements and prevailing statutory tax legislation.
  • managing intercompany transactions and preparing transfer pricing calculations.
  • extending and implementing financial and operational processes to new entities and business units.
  • providing key stakeholders with professional guidance and alternative solutions to support business decisions.
  • working out solutions for ad-hoc financial challenges with tax and legal consultants.
  • handling everyday issues with partners (i.e., Google, customers, vendors), financial and insurance institutes, and outsourced professionals based in Budapest, Munich, and Singapore.

• arranging monthly closing (20%) by
  • analyzing the monthly performance of projects, defining project completion rates, and collating the relevant financial results for each project.
  • examining accounting records to ensure accuracy and completeness on a cost center/project basis.
  • allocating salaries over cost centers and projects based on timesheets.
  • managing administration and cost recognition tasks for the activation of custom-developed intellectual property.
  • preparing and booking accruals.
  • reconciling ledger balances.

It would be nice if you also have

• international financial experience in a similar role within the SME sector.
