Aliz is a global solution provider for the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) focusing on Europe and Asia. We are building scalable applications, IT infrastructures, Big Data, and machine learning solutions as a certified Google partner. We have offices in Budapest, Singapore, Berlin, and Jakarta.

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect colleague in Budapest who will create an amazing experience for our customers as they build and maintain solutions in the Google Cloud.

We are looking for you if you

• want to use your technical leadership skills to guide both our engineers and our clients’ engineers on their cloud journey
• thrive in a collaborative environment, where you can take on a lead role to guide the data team in agile practices
• have great communication skills in English
• are a data architect with at least 6 years of hands-on coding experience (Java/Python and SQL).
• have working experience with any major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, AWS). We are working with GCP.
• are very comfortable with modern cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, or similar), orchestration tools like Airflow (e.g. Cloud Composer, MWAA, or self-managed), and dbt Core.
• have hands-on, up-to-date knowledge in using agentic AI tools to build software solutions.

Your diverse role will include

• communicating efficiently with a conflict resolution and stakeholder management focus while representing a holistic approach to project delivery.

• architecting and creating data pipelines, data platforms, and data warehouses on GCP.
